OH BOY. I finished it. With minimal pain. I figured out if I prop my tablet up on an incline its less horrendous on my wrist. I am so smart.
Anyway. Design is uber-inspired/borrowed from  Shadow-Kayrik's HELL MARX: [link] which is awesome and made of win and you should go fav the shit out of it.  I put my own twist on things. And tried to gauge the palette based on the colour progressions of Marx and Marx Soul. It was tricky! But I am content with the results, even though I said "fuck it" on the wing crystals and just slapped something down and messed with the colour slider until it looked nice. It no longer looks very "hellish" but it's still scary as fuck. Or I think so, anyway. The background reminds me of one of those "plasma balls", y'know, the little orbs with the electric shit in it that you touch and it homes in on your finger. Kirby fails at winning. So does the perspective. |

XB and yas, I think the resemblence is intentional. Originally Sword Kirby's sword was green with a yellow blade but lately its been showing up in game as practically identical to the Master Sword. And in one of the Zelda games, there was an enemy literally called Anti-Kirby (there were also goombas and shyguys from the Mario games). Nintendo lahvs putting little cameos in their games. S'like some kind of "inside joke", I guess.
